Ok so a few of you will have caught my post from last night (yesterday), where I talked about “Where is Diaspora?” Due for release on the 15th. On the following day (GMT) the source code still hadn’t been released!
This was further complicated by the fact that rather then posting a new blog post, they edited an old blog post 4 or 5 days after it was originally posted. Although I orginally missed this, it did confirmed some of the details I already worked out. e.g. It was only source code being released and it was still a way off being ready for the general public. The important fact they added in the latest edit was where the source code was being hosted!
However the good news is Diaspora’s here! The Diaspora source code has been released and there is now a link to it on their website. You can find there source code HERE.
Unfortunately I’m busy and out both tonight and tomorrow night, however I’m hoping to find some time over the weekend to get my chance to play with this new Social Networking tool
